SOYC Lip Sync Choir Wins 2nd Place in Sing for a Cure Competition
Noah Rinehart wowed the audience with his “Lip Sync” rendition of “High Hopes” by “Panic! at the Disco” at the Sing for a Cure Competition at York College.
Performing to a sports related dance routine the “Special Olympics Lip Sync Choir” including: Noah Rinehart (Lip Sync Artist), Paula Pawelcyzk (Sign Language Interpreter), Gary Fissel, Kelsey Fissel, Marshall Geesey, Brian Honeychuck, Courtney Kline, Jenny Laudeman, Rachel Livelsberger, Preslie Pawelcyzk, Michael Plappert, Victoria Seitz, and Chance Smith got a standing ovation from the audience.
Choreographed by Becky Rinehart (Noah’s Mom) the group practiced through August and September and performed on October 2, 2019, winning second place at the competition to raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The group donated their $200 prize to the Alzheimer’s Association.
